Dates: Classes are offered Monday-Thursday, June 18-21, 2018.
Menu: Learn to make your own Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner. 100% hands-on cooking with a maximum of 6-8 children per class. We make several recipes and enjoy our meal together at the end of class. As we work, we talk about where the ingredients come from and how they work together to create the food we eat!
Class Description: Participate in all 4 classes, or choose the ones that work for you. Take all 4 classes for $145, or pay $40/class. AM: The 9:30-11:30 class is geared for ages 11-17. PM: The 1:30-3:30 class is geared for ages 8-12. Exceptions can be made. Please email Sue.
Day 1: We're going to be making Breakfast! Baked blueberry donuts and oatmeal 3 ways: porridge with a variety of toppings that we will make, baked oatmeal cups, and overnight oats. (If you only want to take day 1, sign up for June 18. Select AM for ages 11-17 and PM for ages 8-12. Email Sue for exceptions.)
Day 2: Let's make Lunch! Pizza 3 ways - pita pizzas and pizza rolls. We'll even make the dough! Frozen yogurt pops too. (If you only want to take Day 2, sign up for June 19. Select AM for ages 11-17 and PM for ages 8-12. Email Sue for exceptions.)
Day 3: Snacktime! Chips and dips will be our focus today. We'll make toasted pita chips with hummus, and homemade tortilla chips with different salsas (complete with homemade tortillas!) (If you only want to take Day 3, sign up for June 20. Select AM for ages 11-17 and PM for ages 8-12. Email Sue for exceptions.)
Day 4: Dinner Time! How do mac and cheese cups with broccoli and bacon sound? We'll also make a simple soup and finish off with a berry crisp for dessert. (If you only want to take Day 4, sign up for June 21. Select AM for ages 11-17 and PM for ages 8-12. Email Sue for exceptions.)
